Parkside Leadership Resource Page

Hello Parksiders! This page is for all Parkside leadership. It contains resources helpful for scheduling and planning events, tutorials, and much more. It is a living site and things will be added to it as needed. If you have any questions or a suggestions on what could be added to the page please let us know by emailing the church office (office@parksideucc.org).

Parkside Leadership Forms

To get your event on the calendar and promoted in all the places, the Ministry Calendar Planning Form needs to be filled out. It is the master document for all promotion.

NOTE: Approval for all Ministry Calendar Planning Forms take place every Tuesday during Parkside Staff Meeting. Please keep that in mind as you submit your requests in order to get your information out in a timely manner.


The Save (change) the Date Form serves 3 primary functions:

(1) Given that most of the work done at Parkside is collaborative, we understand that we will not have all the details ready right away, but need to reserve a date. A Save the Date Form will only get your event on the Breeze calendar, NOT promoted on the website, Friday Email or Sunday morning.  A Ministry Calendar Planning Form needs to be filled out fully to receive full promotion from the church.

(2) If you simply need to reserve a room for a non-promoted event. Such as a meeting, decorating, etc. There is no need to fill out an entire Ministry Planning form when a room is needed for a small group of people not open to the larger church.

(3) If you have already filled out a Ministry Calendar Planning Form but need to change any information on the original request.


If you have filled out a Ministry Calendar Planning form for your event you DO NOT also need to submit a request to be in the Friday email. Any event on the calendar will automatically be promoted in the Friday Email. The only exception to this would be if your event requires regular information updates or changes to the initial Ministry Calendar Planning form.

The Friday Email Bulletin Board Request Form is primarily for anything extra you would like to submit: a thank you, a partner ministry event, important information, etc.

NOTE: Submissions need to be submitted by Wednesday before Noon to make it in that Friday’s email. Submissions will generally not run for longer than 4 weeks. Submissions will also be included on the Website and in the Bulletin when applicable.


For reimbursements please fill out Reimbursement Request Form and it will go directly to our treasurer for processing.


If someone is injured at an event or another incident occurs that may lead to litigation please fill out the Incident Report. There are also physical copies of this form available at the church if needed.


The Community Facility Request Form is for personal celebrations, weddings, memorials, and outside organizations wanting to use Parkside’s campus. This is not a form to be used for Parkside events! It can be shared with partner organizations that want to use the facilities or Parksider’s who are in need of a space for the remembrance or celebration of life events.
