Ever Wondered About Loaves & Fishes?
Loaves & Fishes has been around Sacramento since 1983, providing daytime survival services to Sacramento's unhoused women, men and children. But, have you ever wondered what that includes? Want to see how it works? Up close and personal? Join the Parkside Homelessness Organizing Committee for a tour on Wednesday, May 20th at 10:00am. Speak with Marji Miller if you have any questions.
Baptism is an important part of our faith journey. It speaks to new life, new commitment, and being joined into the larger community of the universal church of the body of Christ. In the UCC, Baptism is one of two sacredly observed sacraments and is explained as "an outward expression of the grace of God." The other sacrament for UCC is Communion, which we routinely observe here at Parkside. In like fashion, we want to give Baptism the same attention and consistent practice. We take it seriously and with much joy. If you're interested in being baptized, or having your child baptized, please click the button below and someone from our Discipleship Team will be in touch.
