Groups
Parkside Groups are opportunities for on-going engagement with other Parksiders through social, spiritual, educational and political connection in smaller more intimate settings.
You're invited!
Join our Parkside Racial Justice reading group as we discuss James Baldwin's classic, "Nobody Knows My Name," Sunday, August 2, at 9:00AM (before church) in the church office. The book contains many of Baldwin's classic essays, from which we will choose several to discuss. See you there!
The Spiritual Journeys Book Group will discuss a book that encourages, challenges and inspires our spiritual walk. Every other month we will discuss a book with each in-between month to be used for reading the book. We will have one discussion per book. Open to all.
If you have any questions, contact Olu Gittens
The next Spiritual Journey Book Group book will be "The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom" by Don Miguel Ruiz on Wednesday, August 12 @ 6pm at the Church Office.
