Wednesday On-going Bible Study Wednesday evenings we gather at 7pm for Bible study and discussion in the Library. Whether you’re very familiar with or new to the Bible, you are welcome in this exploration of biblical foundations. Using the Kerygma study course, Rev. Susan will lead this study of the Bible as a whole exploring biblical people, events, ideas and places. A resource book for $28.50 is available but not required. |

Church School for Youth Each Sunday morning provides an opportunity for youth of all ages to experience worship and learn the basics of our Christian faith. On the first Sunday of each month, communion is served during worship and the youth remain in the sanctuary with their parents to participate in this special ritual. On other Sundays, the youth remain in service until the Children’s Conversation with Rev. Susan. The “ark” is passed from child to child and surprises abound each week. Children are then escorted to one of two classes for a biblical lesson, discussion and craft project. The Jr. & Sr. High youth meet on the second and fourth Sunday’s of the month for their own special class where conversation revolves around the challenges they face and how our faith can guide their responses. |
Adult StudyAdults experience stimulating discussions on Sunday mornings at 9am when the class convenes in the Library. Using a curriculum that follows the scriptures used in worship (the Lectionary), participants delve deeply into interpretations of the text and its relevance for our lives today. This class seeks to hear the still-speaking God! This class meets September through May each year. |
Wednesday Prayer CirclePrayer is the cornerstone of our faith journey and practices. Each week we gather in the Library at 8am for a time of offering thanksgiving and sharing concerns followed by deep prayer for one another and our world. Moments of silence invite us to rest in the peace God provides when we open ourselves in prayer. |
