Our Church Leadership
Our Church thrives because of the energy and style of the people who have stepped up to lead. Here are the members of our current Council who make our church community special:
Jeanne Peterson (Flanigan) - Moderator
Jeanne has been a member of Parkside Community Church for about nine years. She and her husband, James Flanigan, moved to Sacramento from East Lansing, Michigan, when Jeanne was appointed to run a statewide program in California related to affordable housing finance. Both Jeanne and James have a passion for affordable housing and worked for many years as General Counsel and as Chief Architect respectively at Michigan’s state housing finance agency. She has been involved in social justice/civil rights issues for much of her life and was happy to find a church home at Parkside.
